Delores Henderson Reed

Delores Henderson Reed, age 79, of Canton, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. 

Mrs. Reed was born on July 25, 1944, in Rome, Georgia, the daughter of the late Samuel Henderson and the late Eva May Allen Henderson. Mrs. Reed was a nurse at Cherokee County Nursing Home for 15 years and then worked at Roswell Nursing Home for 10 years until her retirement. She was a member of Woodstock First Baptist Church.  

She is survived by her children, Vicki Bott (Randy), Pam Comer, Kay Bell (Ken), David Whaley (Tracie), and Jenny Reed Bain (Michael); her grandchildren, Harli Bott Murray (Tyler), Logan Bott, Reed Bott, Payton Comer (Will Lovett), Paul Mancuso, Amanda Whaley Blake(Matthew), Tyler Jake Whaley, Parker Brannon; her great- grandchildren, Rivers Lovett, Grayson Mancuso, Laith Mancuso, and Lynlee Grace Whaley. 

A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 19, 2024, at Ebenezer Methodist Church, 12900 Arnold Mill Road, Roswell, GA at 1:00pm with Dr. Johnny Hunt officiating. The inurnment will be held at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens, in Rome, at a later date.
