Elizabeth W. Tollison

Elizabeth “Betsy” Welling Tollison, age 64, of Canton, passed away on January 18, 2024, at her residence.

Betsy was born on June 28, 1959, in Albany, Georgia, the daughter of Gayle Welling of Canton, GA and the late Leland Welling of Waycross, GA. Betsy was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Canton, GA and a past member of Joanna Baptist Church in Joanna, SC. She had a strong faith throughout her life that was most evident during her recent illness.

Betsy retired from National Health Corporation as a CNA in Clinton, SC. She devoted herself to serving others and was known for her sweet-heart, kind words, and never-ending smile. To know her was to love her and she was loved by all.

She is survived by her mother, Gayle Welling of Canton; her stepmother, Miriam Welling of Gainesville; her children, Kerry Moorse and Tee Moorse both of Bonds Crossroads, SC; her siblings, Gay Welling Watkins of Canton, GA, Lea Whitney Kramm of Livermore, CA, and Tate Welling of Milledgeville, GA; and several nieces and nephews.

The Celebration of Life will be held on March 30^th at 10:30 AM at Hopewell Baptist Church 78 Ridge Road, Canton, Ga 30114.
